Acquisition of Small and Middle Companies in Italy

Mergers and acquisitions of small and middle Italian companies is our core business.

Italy is plenty of excellent (small) enterprises, particularly in the areas of fashion, food, technology, tools and pharmaceuticals. “Made in Italy” is one of the most recognized brand in the international market.

Many of these Italian companies could be acquired for a fraction of their value. The buyer is interested not just in the company, but in becoming the owner of a prestigious Italian brand, access to the technology and the clients list. Not to mention the chance to use the Italian company as a gateway to the European Union and its 500 millions potential clients.

These small and middle companies could be bought for a low price for many causes, the most frequent reason is the change of ownership to the next generation.  It could be sad, but in these cases selling the company means saving the company (and the workers, or at least part of them).

How it works

Our clients may have either a specific Italian company in mind or a generic description (i.e. small textile company with an Italian brand older then 50 years). We could manage the scouting, the due diligence, the acquisition. We could work for the foreign entrepreneur directly, or with his lawyer.

All our team has job experience in Italy and outside Italy, and it is a mix of lawyer and other professions. This is our asset. We could deal with the foreign buyer, and at the same time we understand the peculiarity of the Italian culture, and the Italian balance sheet.
