Asset Protection in ItalyGeneral planning and specific solutions: Family fund "Fondo Patrimoniale", Offshore companies, Trusts and Fundations in Italy.Italy is a so called "civil law" system. Although same of our clients find the word "civil" quite ironic, the result is the same: trusts, offshore companies and foreign foundations usually don't work or - worse - they tend to fall under the scrutiny of the Italian Tax Agency as suspicious entities.
